Thursday's Scavengings

Behind-the-scenes? Stuff has been happening.

Here? Not so much.

Stories have been getting written, poetry has been scrawled out in chicken scratch, sketches and photography have been uploaded to a place called Society 6.

Wait, what's Society 6? That's okay, I didn't know until a couple of weeks ago, either. Then, I decided to take the plunge and put my work up for sale on things like t-shirts, posters, and bar stools...

... bar stools? Wait, what?

The website has many items that aren't usual to find with artist's paintings, sketches, or photography on them. These include stuff like bar stools, shower curtains, duvet covers, and throw pillows, rather than just the usual wall tapestries, canvas prints, and poster art.

They also have clocks...

... coffee tables, side tables, and a bunch of other items.

All of these much more unique things can be found amongst the usual t-shirts and tank tops.

And all of this can be found here at Society 6.

If you'd like to know what designs I decided to upload first for this fun, new way of experiencing my art, look no further than the gallery below (or, you can go straight to my page; that'd be nice, too).

Other than that, I've been writing a lot of horror stories. These will be available in my upcoming collection, but there is no time frame as to when it'll be done. All I know is that it's getting there, and these tales are much more horror than the last bunch -- the bunch that was in Thistle: 16 Short Stories, which you can find here,

on Etsy.

Everything from human science experiments, to a doctor who donates their patients to become architectural details, to a six-year-old boy with a murderous imaginary friend can be found in Thistle.

Many of the tales in this collection will be rewritten with renewed vision and published in Horripilate, which is the working title for the next book.

Horripilate will have both brand new tales and those that are old, expanded-upon, and reimagined.

The other day, I also figured out how to make sound loops in the software I use to create music. So, now that that's been uncovered, you can be sure that there will be more music coming.

Other than that, life has been life, and what's better inspiration than that?
